This song is from “Ek Saal” (1957). This song is a duet sung by Hemant Kumar and Lata. The lyrics are written not by an established lyricist but a part time one. Ravi, known more as a music director, is the lyricist. And what superb lyrics he has come up with. This has to be one of the most adorable romantic songs I have ever come across.
Ravi is of course the music director of this song as well.
This movie had Ashok Kumar and Madhubala in lead roles and I guess that this duet was picturised on them.
